A teenage boy plummeted to his death after he climbed a locked fence into a restricted area of a snow-covered and tried to sled down a slide.
Addison Reed Williams, 16, of Port. Lucie, Florida was visiting Lake Delton, Wisconsin when the 'dream vacation' took a tragic turn, reportsTMJ-4.
The Sunshine State family hadn't seen winter snow and were excited to sled and do other snow-related activities.

Addison was visiting with his family from Florida and was excited about seeing snow for the first time. But the trip took a tragic turn when he plummeted from this slide while trying to sled down it
The teen, his brother, and a friend reportedly climbed over a seven foot padlocked fence. The water park was closed for the season when they decided to try out the slide

Williams, along with his brother and a friend, decided to check out the partially snow-covered Mt. Olympus theme park in Wisconsin Dells on Wednesday night even though it was closed for the season.
The trio climbed over a padlocked, seven-foot chain link fence and into a restricted area with their saucer sleds, reports the outlet.
They then took the stairs up to the top of the orange slide, the highest in the park at 85 feet.
Two of the boys decided it looked too dangerous and reportedly warned Williams not to slide down, but he did.
He got about halfway down and then got stuck.
As he tried to wiggle his sled out of the snow, he fell about 35 feet to the ground, according to WPTV.

'I think they're still processing the tragedy,' said Hardman. The police chief added that the tragedy could have been avoided if they hadn't gone into a restricted and locked area.
A cousin of the teen has set up a GoFundMe account to help cover the teen's funeral expenses and costs to get him back to Florida.
The resort wouldn't comment on the incident and only sent their best wishes to the family, reported the outlet.
